My Story

Liz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who approaches therapy with a collaborative, strengths-based lens. She supports individuals and families in clarifying their goals, building insight, and improving overall well-being. Liz views mental health holistically—recognizing the deep connection between physical, emotional, and mental health.

She earned her Master’s degree from Simmons University in 2013 and later obtained her DESE School Adjustment Counselor/School Social Worker certification in 2019. Liz is also a Certified Sports Social Worker (University of Michigan, 2024), enabling her to support athletes as they navigate the relationship between mental health, performance, and physical demands.

Liz’s professional background in therapeutic school settings informs her ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, young adults, and families facing a wide range of challenges. Her experience includes supporting individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, autism spectrum disorder, executive functioning difficulties, low self-worth, relationship concerns, LGBTQIA+/gender-related experiences, and the complexities of parenting children and teens with mental health needs.

She draws from DBT, narrative therapy, mentalization-based therapy, and CBT to provide a thoughtful, person-centered approach. Liz also specializes in Collaborative Problem Solving—a trauma-informed model grounded in open communication, skill development, and a nonjudgmental, non-labeling philosophy.

Liz works with youth, families, couples and adults
