
Amber
Amber is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space for individuals to explore their mental health journey. With a warm and collaborative approach, Amber works alongside clients to foster insight, develop practical coping skills, and promote emotional well-being. She integrates evidence-based practices with a client-centered focus to help individuals navigate life’s challenges, identify strengths, and reach meaningful goals.
Amber holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from SUNY Plattsburg and has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, child behaviors, eating disorders, and substance use.
Amber uses a person-centered approach incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), the Transtheoretical Model, Collaborative Problem Solving, and Mindfulness-based interventions. Her therapeutic style is thoughtful, compassionate, and empowering—focused on meeting clients where they are and supporting their unique goals at a comfortable pace. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, creative arts, and spending time with her pets.
